Todd Weatherly, President of Stucker, Smith & Weatherly, brings a wealth of experience spanning over 25 years with 15 of those in the private pay behavioral health treatment field. In that time Todd has built a reputation as a pioneer and leader who is passionate about developing programs, building teams, and facilitating specialized care for to those in need. His career is driven by a deep commitment to serving others. Having served in Executive Director and CEO roles for treatment facilities, he is highly sought after for his guidance and expertise in the treatment community. For the past decade, Todd has specialized as a behavioral health treatment expert advising families, trusts, attorneys, schools, and programs alike. Todd lives in the Asheville area of beautiful Western North Carolina with his wife, two kids, two cats, a husky and a small fleet of mountain bikes.

Maggie Smith, MA

Vice President & Partner Therapeutic Consultant

Maggie Smith, Co-Owner and Partner with Stucker, Smith & Weatherly, has a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is passionate about connecting people with quality care. She has been in the behavioral health and substance abuse field since 2010 and has emerged as a skilled and compassionate advocate for families struggling with complex diagnostic profiles. Maggie is well-versed in working with adults and adolescents struggling with addiction, mood and personality disorders, thought disorder, and conduct disorders, OCD and anxiety disorders, and more. She continually works to educate families about the mental health treatment process and empower them to move forward in a way that will yield the best long-term outcomes.

Brant Evans, MA

Therapeutic Consultant

Brant holds a MA in social-organizational psychology from Columbia University and began work in the therapeutic industry in 2011. He has served in leadership roles with multiple therapeutic organizations as well as a nonprofit that provides mentorship for adolescents. Over the years, he has supported hundreds of clients in their journey to heal from trauma, depression, addiction, and other mental health issues. Brant takes a wholistic systems approach to working with mental health and healing family relationships.  He leans on the thinking of Wilfred Bion, Robert Bly, and Simon Western (among others) to inform his perspective.

Outside of work, Brant loves to go on hikes with his wife and goldendoodle, practice Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and write about group psychology.

Dr. Katy Parker, PsyD

Clinical Therapeutic Consultant

Dr. Katy Parker holds a BA and MA in Psychology with her PsyD in Clinical Psychology specializing in substance abuse combined with underlying psychological disorders.

Dr. Parker’s experience ranges from treating the community of disenfranchised individuals suffering from addiction and severe mental illness in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco to being the Executive Director of both residential and intensive outpatient programs. Her work and life have been touched by all the various components of treatment. In her current endeavors she says, “I feel utterly grateful for being in a position to offer help, hope and the possibility of a new future to those in crisis and a resource to my fellow clinicians, individuals and families in need.”

Laurie Daniels has a strong background in administrative work, with over 13 years of experience. Her expertise in mental health administration stems from working directly with families as a treament facility Admissions Coordinator and administrator.  Throughout her career, Laurie has developed a skill set focused on streamlining processes, managing resources, and ensuring effective communication within organizations. Her ability to adapt to different administrative environments and excel in diverse settings makes her an invaluable part of our team. Laurie is dedicated to supporting our clients in collaboration with consultant team as they guide families through the mental health care systems. 

Jennifer Stanger, CLC, QMHP, QSAPP

Interventionist, Therapeutic Consultant & Case Manager

Jennifer Stanger has been working in the mental and behavioral health industry since 2008. While she began her professional career in New York City in the world of fashion advertising, she’d discover in the coming years that her true passions are centered around mental/behavioral health and recovery. She initially entered the treatment and recovery field in the role of marketing and business development but eventually shifted her focus to direct services of case management, crisis management, interventions, therapeutic consulting, and treatment placement. She enjoys working with the complex dynamics of families and the individuals in need of treatment and support services. As an interventionist, Jennifer is ARISE® trained in the invitational model and specializes in both eating disorders and substance use interventions. She is additionally skilled at addressing the complexities of severe and persistent mental health and supporting families and loved ones through navigating appropriate treatment place and the challenges of getting an individual into the care needed. Through her time and experience in the industry, Jennifer is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), Qualified Substance Abuse Prevention Professional (QSAPP) and a Certified Life Coach (CLC). When not working, Jennifer is out running, playing tennis and anything else active and outside.
