Although clinically trained therapeutic professionals, SS&W does not provide mental health services but, instead, refers clients to appropriate mental health treatment providers for therapeutic or clinical support. Additionally, SS&W has no financial relationship with any mental health professional, provider, or program. Programs will often provide travel reimbursement (i.e. flight, hotel, meals) for program tours as touring is a vital tool for referral knowledge and client care advocacy. However, travel expense reimbursement for touring a program has no bearing on the likelihood of a referral.
